Yes we offer tailored web development and will be able to integrate personalized functionalities to the system.
-Can I integrate your Content Management System myself?
Integrating the CMS requires knowledge of HTML, it is recommended you let us integrate the system or use your own web designer to do it.
-Can my own web / graphic designer use your system?
Yes, you can get your own designer to integrate the CMS
-I do not have hosting, can you help?
Yes you can purchase Flo CMS hosted on a server. Hosting includes statistics, email accounts, large web space etc.
-I have my own hosting arrange, can I use it?
Yes you can host the site yourself, however it would need to be on a windows server and the following would be required: MySQL database, MyODBC connection, Jmail mailing components. Those are quiet standard.
-I would like to use Flo CMS but do not have a web designer?
We can provide you with this service via our main company Flo Web Design Ltd (www.flowebdesign.ie)
-Can I have documents to download on the site?
Yes, from the CMS you can upload documents such as PDF’s, Word™ documents etc and offer them to your customers for download.
-Can I past Microsoft™ Word™ documents into the pages?
Yes you can bring text from Word™, however because HTML uses different settings the layout may look different.
-Do I need a knowledge of HTML to use the Content Management System?
No you do not need a knowledge of HTML to use the CMS, however understanding what HTML is about will help you manage your pages.
-Do I need particular training?
No, the CMS is easy to use and is delivered with documentation. In general if you can use a computer you should be able to use the content management system.
-Do I need to install a software to use your CMS?
No, all your need is a browser.
-I would like to create an image gallery, do I need to resize my images?
No, the system will upload your image, resize it down and create a thumbnail.
-Is there a limit on how much I use the CMS or number of pages etc?
No you can use the CMS as much as you want and there is no restriction on the number of pages you can create
-Will I be able to add new contact form, for instance for surveys?
Yes you can create a page with a contact form and then build the questions / form fields yourself.
-Will I be able to create new pages?
Yes you will be able to create regular text pages, images galleries, links pages, FAQ pages such as this one, contact forms, Google™ API map pages.
